A growing number of growers and buyers activate Floriday Messenger and send an initial message. That is the moment when they can experience the added value of chatting in Floriday, right where supply and demand meet. Initial experiences with Floriday Messenger have been positive. We are seeing a growing number of users (1,250+) as well as chats (1,750+). At the same time, there are gains to be made as an industry if chats can be started in more places, and if responses to these chats - now about 50% response rate - follow on faster.
Messenger in more places within Floriday
It is possible to use Messenger in more and more places. For growers, for example, it is now even possible to add items from the catalogue to a chat. And for growers and buyers to share photos from the gallery and/or take and share a photo. It is also easy to assign a chat to a colleague. This means you can ensure that chats which come in under 'company' are seen by the right person and can be picked up immediately. Additionally, you will see a display of the Floriday Messenger icon in the topics when a chat has been started.
Respond actively to chats
Tip for all Messenger users: check for new messages regularly and respond actively. Push messages are very useful for this. So enable push notifications and give your browser permission to receive push notifications. You will then never miss a response from the grower/buyer.

Messenger introduction
After talking to both growers and buyers last year, we worked out that a lot of mutual communication is often about topics and issues on Floriday. This results in lots of Whatsapp and email messages with picture attachments going back and forth. Growers and buyers spend a lot of time searching for the right person and information. Our goal: to improve user efficiency and make work a lot easier. Which is why we have developed a new feature: Floriday Messenger.
