As of 1 September 2026 Royal FloraHolland will stop a number of outdated EDI services for growers. For all of these services, fully fledged and future‑proof alternatives are available via the Floriday and RFH Insights. 

As of 1 September 2026, Royal FloraHolland will stop the following EDI services for growers. For all of these services, fully fledged and future‑proof alternatives are available via the Floriday and Insights API integrations or Floriday screens.

  • Daily statistics – average auction prices (DAGSTA)
  • Price information during the auction (V EPT)
  • Daily proceeds direct and auction clock (E‑Invoice EPT)

Why are we stopping EDI-services for growers (PRICAT)

By replacing EDI messages with modern solutions via Floriday and Insights, we ensure that growers, buyers and software suppliers are ready for further digitalisation of trade. EDI messages have been an important part of our services for many years, but the technology is outdated and vulnerable.

In addition, the possibilities for further development and innovation are limited, making it difficult to connect to modern software and new services. With new technologies, we can improve more quickly, exchange richer data and respond better to developments in the market.

  • Your software packages that are currently being developed for this purpose (via the RFH Insights API)
  • Extensive statistics on the RFH Insights dashboard (app on Floriday)
    • A Light subscription to RFH Insights is sufficient as an alternative for average auction prices.

Price information during the auction (V-EPT)

You will soon find the price information during the auction via:

  • Your software packages that are currently being developed for this purpose (via the Floriday API)
  • Sales orders in Floriday (Floriday screens)
  • Insights via the RFH Insights dashboard (app on Floriday) (from a Light package)

Invoice information after auction (E-Invoice, EPT)

You will soon find invoice information after the auction via:

  • Your software packages that are currently being developed for this purpose (via the Floriday API). XML invoices can be used as an alternative
  • Invoice status of sales orders in Floriday (Floriday screens)
  • Via statistics in RFH Insights (app on Floriday) (from a Light package)

Together with software suppliers

We are carefully preparing this transition together with software suppliers. In this overview, you can see per software package how you will receive your EDI messaging in the future.

Frequently asked questions

For most growers, nothing will change. It depends on the software supplier whether they will support the alternative. Check the overview for your software package to see how the information will be made available in the future.

If this is not made available via your software supplier, we offer the following options:

  • If you use price information during the auction (V‑EPT), you will soon be able to find this in the sales orders in Floriday, or in RFH Insights. This information is already available in the Light subscription.
  • To find the average auction prices (Daily statistics – DAGSTA), you will find extensive options via Insights.
  • For daily proceeds direct/auction clock (E‑invoice – EPT), you can retrieve the XML invoice in your software package, combined with the invoice status in Floriday.

These alternatives not only offer the same data, but also more possibilities: faster insight and a better fit with your trading activities.

In MyRFH you can find which message types you currently have a subscription to.

Agreements have been made with software suppliers that they will have this development ready before 1 September 2026, provided they have indicated that they will support the alternative in their software package.

You can already take out an RFH Insights subscription from €31 per month (Light package). This subscription can easily be paused during the months when you do not need it. View more information here.
